Ideas for this page 03/24/2012
I definitely struggle with my weight. I have gained almost 90 pounds since high school and weigh as much now as I did when I was 9 months pregnant with my son. Those numbers horrify me and I'm humiliated to type them, but it's real. Some people drink, some people smoke, I eat. Something has to change! I have to change!
ULTIMATE GOAL: Loose 80 pounds.
GOAL: Walk in the YMCA's Rhubarb Run 5K in June.
Obviously, the ultimate goal is a pretty lofty goal. I'm not 100% sure how to obtain that, but that's the purpose of this blog. Figuring it out, right? The weight didn't come on over night, so I know I won't loose it over night either. This is a commitment to a change in lifestyle.
Starting in April, I would like to use this page to track my personal weight loss, healthy eating ideas for the family, recipes, etc. I will also be turning to scripture to help in this endeavor. If you have any key verses, you'd like to share to inspire, please SHARE! Putting this information out there for all to see, will hopefully keep me accountable.
